Within the SAOT Summer Academy 2021, SAOT doctoral candidates and MAOT students dealt with optical phenomena that we constantly encounter in everyday life.

In 2021, the SAOT Awards were again presented at a ZOOM video conference.

The 21st Symposium on Thermophysical Properties will be held June 20-25, 2021 - with 13 members of the Institute of Advanced Optical Technologies - Thermophysical Properties (AOT-TP) actively participating.

The 33rd International SAOT Workshop, chaired by Prof. Dr. Dr. Oliver Friedrich, took place online from 16 - 17 February 2021.

The Winter Academy 2021 took place online again due to the ongoing Covid 19 crisis. From 15 -18 February, the participants from SAOT and MAOT dealt intensively with the topic “Modern Biophotonics”.
