SAOT Award Laureate Darko Zibar honored with Bessel Award
Congratulations to former SAOT Young Researcher Award Winner Professor Darko Zibar from Technical University of Denmark, DTU, for being awarded with the Friedrich Wilhelm Bessel International Research Award of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. His award goes along with €45,000 and an invitation to conduct a research project in Germany.
We are happy to announce that Professor Zibar will collaborate with SAOT Principal Investigator Professor Bernhard Schmauss from LHFT at FAU. Their joint work will focus on quantum-noise limited sensing using already installed fibre infrastructure.
The award ceremony will take place in Bamberg in October 2022.
